The focus of our activities is on addressing the operational performance of each of our businesses and building a solid foundation for profitability and growth. In particular, the businesses have been challenged to:

• convert a greater proportion of their operating profits into cash
• achieve return on sales at least in line with their peer group
• invest in the capabilities required to grow market share

Each business has clear, detailed plans in place and progress is reviewed on a monthly basis with their management teams.
